"I've recently started having some soreness in the neck. It's probably due to a change in jobs and the much longer commute that goes with it. I've heard from a few friends that a massage might alleviate the tension and the soreness.
After looking for a massage therapist reasonably close to where I live, I narrowed it down to a few different places with good Yelp reviews. I decided to give Celia a try based on the close location and the perfect ratings. Well, her perfect ratings continue with my review.
First of all, she communicated well with me as I was setting up an appointment. When I showed up, after asking me what area I wanted her to concentrate on, she proceeded with a 30-minute massage. Although she worked on my shoulders and lower back to some extent, she concentrated heavily on my neck, which is what I wanted.
She asked me to let her know if I wanted stronger or weaker massage but I didn't have to ask her to adjust since the strength of the massage was just right. Celia had very strong hands and really worked on getting the knots out. When she was done, I definitely felt better. The tension in the neck was gone.
The office was nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable. Prices were very reasonable also. She even offered me a bottle of water as I was leaving.
In addition to being a very nice person, you can tell Celia has a lot of pride in her work and wanted to make sure you were happy with the massage.
Whenever I feel like I need another massage, I will go back to Celia."
